To add a Promo code that allows you to give someone a package for free when used please follow these steps
As an example. Say you want to make the 'Drop In' package that is in your store for $15, free for some clients and $5 for other clients. You would do the following to create a FREE promo code call DROP -
Add a promo code called DROP and set the discount as $15.00. When this code is used this would make the Drop In package free.
Promo Code Name = DROP
Package Category = Package Category you want to use
Select Package for the Discount = Drop In
Expiration Date = You determine what you want this to be
Discount Type(Percentage or Amount) = Amount | $15.00
Status = Active
To add a Promo code that allows you to give someone a package at a discount when used please follow these steps below -
Add a promo code called DROP2 and set the discount as $10.00. When this code is used, the price Drop In package would be $5.
Promo Code Name = DROP2
Package Category = Package Category you want to use
Select Package for the Discount = Drop In
Expiration Date = You determine what you want this to be
Discount Type(Percentage or Amount) = Amount | $10.00
Status = Active
These are just 2 examples. You can make the discounts anything you wish.
** Please note, that to make a package free you need to use the Amount, not the percentage. **
Remember, you can call the PROMO CODE anything you wish. We used these names just for this demonstration.
