Adding a donation based class is a popular feature used by a lot of studios. Some studios only offer classes that are donation based.

​How to set this up in your StudioBookings

Add the class to the calendar as usual but remember to make the credits required 0. This will make the system not look for payment from the member booking the class. (See below)

How do I get members to make a donation after booking a donation based class?

We recommend that you edit the email confirmation that members receive after they book a class to include the link or QR code to make a donation. This way, after the member books a class, they get the email confirmation of the booking and the link or QR code to make a donation.

Below shows the example of a studio adding a donation link and a QR code link to the booking confirmation email. You can add both or just one.

Best option to use if not all your classes are donation based

The other option for studio is to send the donation link or QR code to the full class attendances after the class, from the Roll Call page. On the Roll Call page, simply select the 'Send Email' feature and include the link or QR code. This option is also well used by most studios.
